It's all about our kids - EST 1928 : Grades Pre R to 7
Grade 6 & 7 band
Each year we give every pupil in grade 6 and 7 the opportunity to audition for the Rock band. Once chosen each pupil will have the opportunity to hone their skills be it singing, drumming or guitar playing. These band have weekly rehearsals which ensure that our students are ready for any performance that comes their way.
Jazz Band
The schools jazz band rehearses weekly and performs for school concerts, eisteddfods, and any other event. These pupils all get an opportunity to learn about Jazz improvisation where they can create melodies on the spot and delve deeper into the history of jazz.
Saxophone Ensemble
All saxophone students have an opportunity to take part in a saxophone group. The group rehearses twice a week and gives all saxophonists an opportunity to fine tune their skills, play in a group and learn from one another.
